Join us in learning and connecting through Anishinaabemowin in a welcoming and community centered environment.
Our program offers opportunities for both Indigenous community members and non-Indigenous participants to learn, practice, and engage with the language in respectful and meaningful ways.
Program Schedule
Virtual “Open Lunch & Learn”Mondays | 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
Open to everyone.
A casual virtual space to learn, practice, and engage with Anishinaabemowin during your lunch hour.
Early Intermediate Class | Tuesdays
This is a closed program for Indigenous community members only.
Sessions include cultural discussions and activities connected to spiritual practices and beliefs.
Beginner Class | Thursdays 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Open to everyone.
Held in person in the Talking Room.
Thursdays also coincide with social night, giving participants an opportunity to listen to the big drum and connect with community.
