Na-Me-Res (Native Men's Residence)

The Native Men's Residence has operated as a shelter for homeless men since 1986 at 14 Vaughan Rd. About 570 men a year utilize the facility. Our mission statement reads: Native Men's Residence is a temporary home for men, which maintains a healthy sense of community, co-operation and self-worth through the promotion of traditional Native Cultures and Values. We endeavour to build a strong foundation for our residents on their road to recovery and self-sufficiency.
